This is an article I wrote for publication in the Hispanic Genealogical Journal (Houston, Texas); it is a Photo and History Tour of the Longoria Ancestral Homelands in Asturias, Spain. The article reflects my emotions after visiting those homelands in 2011 but, more importantly, it also presents some of its history and contains color photographs of the area and some of its historic places. The article was published in the 2015 edition of the Hispanic Genealogical Journal but was edited for appearance only (not for content), and unfortunately that editing resulted in quite a few formatting errors in the final printed Journal. This is my original article as submitted for publication.
